Every dollar makes a difference.

TAILS is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we rely entirely on donations to fuel our lifesaving work. Your support directly funds:

* Spay/neuter surgeries and TNR (trap-neuter-return)
* Urgent medical care
* Food, litter, and supplies for our foster cats
* Rescue operations and community outreach

Whether it’s $10 or $100, your gift goes straight to helping animals in need — no overhead, no fluff, just care. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Thank you for being part of our mission. We couldn’t do it without you.

Here’s what we can do with your donation:
* $25 — foster supplies (litter, food, etc.)
* $45 — neonate kitten meal replacement for first 6 weeks
* $70 — we can spay/neuter & vaccinate (rabies/distemper) a feral cat
* $240 — we can spay/neuter, vaccinate (rabies & distemper), microchip, SNAP (FIV/FELV) test a friendly cat
* $370 — we can get a healthy adult cat from rescue to adoption ready
* $500 — we can get a newborn kitten from birth to 12 weeks adoption ready

About Us

The Alliance in Limiting Strays (TAILS) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit charitable organization based in Westport, Connecticut. Starting in 2001, we support spay/neuter of cats and dogs locally and beyond, concentrating in our home area of Fairfield County.

With no paid staff, we are able to put every dollar donated directly to saving animals! TAILS provides assistance to our community with spay/neuter funding and services, facilitated by a host of multi-faceted volunteers.

Our volunteer Board of Directors each average over 15 years animal welfare experience, bringing diverse skill sets to support all aspects of the TAILS mission.
